Hand drawn titles

I drew all of my titles that appear on my website and that of my name logo. I scanned the titles into Photoshop and manipulated them, adding some of my pattern work for backgrounds to some, like the one above.

I.C.T. and Art

"ICT can transform the way that education is delivered and open the way to a new pedagogy."
"I.C.T. offers new opportunities for new kinds of art work."
Addison, N. & Burgess, L. (2003) Issues in Art & Design Teaching, London: Routledge Falmer.
"A study by the Arts Council of England (2003) suggested that appropriate use of I.C.T. in art and design can empower children to become more creative an successful in art and design."
Cox, S. Watts, R. (2007) Teaching Art & Design 3-11 Reaching the Standard Series. London: Continum.

Sharing some of my favourite quotes I have found this year

"Nobody can ever tell you that you are doing something wrong in art."
Josh Correa, aged ten.
Beal, N. (2001) The Art of Teaching Art to children: in school and at home London: Farrar, Straus, and Giroux.

Pattern slide show

Some of my pattern work, in no particular order! I feel it allows the viewer to understand some of the development; build up and how the most slightest of differences in pieces are now more easily identifiable on the eye. As some of the work looks quite similar but the transitions here allow the viewer to see the differences more easily.

Sorry it is a little bit long!
